This good practice is related to the transformation of regional literature as a form of strengthening literary learning in the student environment 2 Suryakancana University Cianjur PBSI Study Program. Literary transformation can be used as a form of stimulation for students to create. The work produced is the result of student collaboration, lecturers and other parties involved in it.
Regional literature is a noble literary work that needs to be protected and preserved. The process of preserving regional literary works can be carried out in various ways. One of them is the process of literary transformation. Students' lack of knowledge of various forms of regional literary transformation creates a problem in literature learning. Literary learning, In particular, regional literature at the tertiary level is less popular with semester students 2 Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (PBSI), Suryakancana University FKIP.
The low interest of students in learning regional literature makes me challenged to innovate, adapt and collaborate in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. After carrying out the observation process, I encountered several problems, namely (1) the language used in regional literary works is not well understood by students, so it is considered difficult to digest; (2) students are less familiar with regional literary works; (3) lack of regional literature teaching materials; (4) there is no trigger to get to know regional literary works better. Thus, I strengthen literature learning, especially regional literature which is oriented towards the local wisdom of the Cianjur region by making various kinds of literary transformations. The transformation of literature in the form of transfer of vehicles is intended to adapt to the nature of nature and the nature of the times which require us to always link learning with audio-visual assistance or digital assistance..
The challenge faced is that creating digital teaching media and the transformation process in video form requires quite large costs; stimulate students' interest in being able to create original work; Application for IPRs for literary transformation products requires mutual agreement between students and lecturers, especially in checking the level of plagiarism and financing of copyright.
In facing these challenges, I have carried out various actions to design digital teaching media and create literary transformations in video form, namely by collaborating between PBSI students and Informatics Engineering students.. Besides that, not just the students, the lecturers also collaborated. As for financing, it is charged together in portions 70% from lecturers and 30% from students. Upaya menstimulasi minat mahasiswa untuk berkarya yaitu dengan memerdekakan mahasiswa untuk memilih karya sastra daerah yang disukai, jika ada terjemahannya maka dibacalah karya terjemahannya. After students understand the story they read, lalu diberi proyek untuk ditransformasikan dalam bentuk karya lain, so that external results are obtained in the form of student collaboration, dosen dan pihak lainnya yang terlibat dalam pembuatan luaran tersebut. To apply for intellectual property rights (RIGHT), We submit the work/output product of the course to LPPM University so that the level of similarity of the work can be checked and submit IPRs in groups guided by the lecturer..
The change experienced after carrying out this learning is that lectures are increasingly liked by students because apart from theory there is also a practical process.. And this makes students more interested and interactive. Besides that, every student obtains a product/external from the exempted course. The process of literary transformation can stimulate students to create works based on what they have read/watched in previous literary works so that it becomes a stimulus for writing or creating. An example of the work of students and lecturers is the transformation of the rice story into a short film, transformation of Cianjur folklore in the form of digital comics and poetry anthologies. Besides that, Regional literary teaching material products are also arranged in digital form.
