Si Bacce or Students Sharing Cheerful Stories is a lesson that aims to improve students' literacy skills in understanding the content of reading. I did this learning in class 6b. I did this based on the initial assessment I carried out in understanding the content of the reading in the form of a written test in the form of a description, the data i get only 38,7 % or approx 12 students from 31 Students who are able to understand the rest of the reading content cheat and don't even know it at all. This happens because of students' lack of interest in reading, The collection of fiction reading books prepared in the reading corner is still very limited, online games that really attract students' attention rather than reading, and lack of support and motivation from parents to read. Seeing this, I took several steps to increase students' reading motivation by going to the school library for recreation, to the reading park, to the reading gazebo, and to the reading aisle. Apart from that, in class I facilitate students to watch stories on laptops and LCDs. The next activity is that I assign students to write what they read or watch using their own language in a DIARY book. The final step is the Si Bacce activity (Students Share Cheerful Stories ) namely asking students to come forward either in front of the class or in front of the morning assembly activity to share stories. Thank God, some of the methods I used produced very good results, The men's group took the initiative to present a mini drama entitled "The Beginning of Bantaeng City", the performance video can be accessed at https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSLCJcfgT/ and the women's group took the initiative to perform a dance entitled "Padengan". The video display can be accessed at https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSLCJnbSL/. They presented it at the opening of the P5 Festival held by Classes I and IV with the theme Local Wisdom.
