Student Personality in Continuous Vertical Writing
Indonesian is an important language in teaching and learning in Indonesia. Teachers should choose a method for teaching reading skills, write, speak, and listen. Lower class to upper class students so that students not only understand and apply it in everyday communication. Several problems arise in Indonesian language subjects, one of which is the lack of students' ability to write incorrectly in cursive letters. Some problems related to cursive writing skills include:: the lack of students' ability to write letters upright connected with the correct understanding of letters, lack of teacher creativity in explaining the material, lack of motivation in students regarding the importance of cursive writing skills, less effective student learning activities. Learning to write in cursive writing is important from elementary school to high school. Teachers are required to be able to instill the concept of cursive writing which is enjoyable for students. With this fun concept, it is hoped that students' cursive writing skills will get used to writing cursively correctly.
The skill of writing in cursive for students is an extraordinary struggle for those who are not used to it. Students who are not used to writing in cursive can be an unpleasant thing in the learning process. Students do not realize that the process of writing in cursive is the beginning of the formation of emotional stability in adolescence. There are many complaints from students, among others: being tired or not being able to write cursively is an excuse cliche. The stages of writing in cursive writing will be slower than writing that does not use cursive writing. For Teachers, being able to guide how to write cursively will definitely be a fun activity.
