Good practice elaboration

As Deputy Principal for Curriculum Affairs at Middle School 23 Simbang, Maros Regency, I often have difficulty getting a data base regarding teacher attendance in class, recap of student attendance , development of student learning outcomes, and teacher teaching tools. When I asked the teacher for data, The homeroom teacher and even the BK or BP teacher always have lots of excuses like forgetting, the laptop is broken, lost and many other reasons. This made me try to find solutions to what I could do as a teacher while also being given additional duties as deputy principal for curriculum affairs to make it easier for me to get supporting data information that I could use to analyze and carry out school development. .

I am restless and confused about this condition, Sometimes it becomes a burden to think about why it is so difficult to prepare the required data such as student attendance, teacher teaching journal and student grade recap, So there needs to be a way or method that can be seen or used by all teachers and school principals to be able to obtain the required data. Another challenge is that there are still many teachers who have not utilized the Belajar.id account which has been provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, Technology and Technology. This data is very necessary as supporting data in school development to improve student learning outcomes and develop human resources in schools, especially teachers.

To answer the problem above, the first thing I did was record what information was needed for school development. I met with the principal about this and the plans I was going to make. I created a google form regarding student absence reports, teacher's teaching journal. After that I showed it to the principal and he agreed to this. Then I asked for email addresses for the Belajar.id account from the teacher and principal so that I could create a shared drive to collect teaching materials. After everything was ready, I socialized this matter at school meetings and at the learning community at the school that had been previously formed, namely the SMPN Learning Community 23 Consider how to use and utilize Google Forms and the shared drives that I created. I created a link from the data and then shared it with the teacher, homeroom teacher and principal. The homeroom teacher shares the student's absence link with the child's guardian and the student's parents.

I created and shared the report from filling out the Google form so that it can be accessed by everyone who has the link, making it easier for teachers, The homeroom teacher and principal can monitor student attendance, guru. The principal can carry out initial supervision of learning just by looking at the shared drive that has been created.

With what I did, students who were absent no longer had permission to use chat via WhatsApp but instead filled out the Google form, The teacher fills out a teaching journal so that the teacher's learning activity in class can be seen and the presence of students in participating in the lesson. Teachers can upload learning devices on a shared drive which can be accessed by teachers and school principals so that they can share knowledge and examples of teaching devices, making it easier for teachers to complete teaching devices, especially independent curriculum teaching devices. School principals can carry out initial supervision by viewing the shared drive. This has an impact on teachers, namely teachers try to be present on time and teach in class and prepare teaching tools at the beginning of learning. The impact for students is that they are more active at school because their absences can be monitored and informed through the parent group, and students can receive lessons from the teacher well.
