I am already half a century old. My journey as a teacher is very long and full of obstacles and learning lessons. Initially entered UPT SPF SDN MAWAS, I perform teaching duties in the class 4. Here the community environment is quite harsh. Children are used to screaming and arguing. Fights often occur, even if they are only triggered by something insignificant.
One day I found some students behaving unusually. That day's lesson did not feel conducive because the students looked restless. They glanced at each other and whispered to each other. They looked scared because they felt like there was danger threatening them. I then stopped the learning activity to find out what was going on. No one wants to tell the truth. They really feel threatened.
I then approached one of the children and asked him to talk privately. Once you feel safe, the child finally told the truth. He whispered while glancing to the right and to the left, afraid someone will hear. He said that one of the students, let's call him Duri. Duri is a very quiet classmate. But that day Thorn was nowhere to be seen in his seat, even though his friends had seen Duri coming. Duri first entered the class with a face full of revenge. His friends may also be afraid and choose to stay away.
Duri approached his chair, then told his deskmate. That day he intended to take revenge on a classmate who was sitting on the class bench 6. Duri stated the reason, because they often get bullied. He was often harassed until he was beaten by the older sister of the class. Duri then showed something from inside her bag. Before he opened the bag, He looked around the class to make sure that no one saw the bag except the two of them. Duri also asked his deskmate not to tell anyone. He agreed by nodding his head in agreement.
Duri slowly opened her bag. His seatmate suddenly looked pale, surprised, scared, and closed his eyes and stepped back. Duri then said that he would use this object to take revenge. A sharp blade appeared to be peeking out from behind the bag. It looked hideously shiny. That said, Duri had prepared from home several days beforehand. Seeing his friend scared, Duri closed her bag again and went somewhere. He said he planned to stab the senior after school.
Hearing the story of my desk friend Duri, I immediately looked for Duri. I felt very worried when it launched its action. I went from one class to another. But Duri never showed the bridge of his nose. I turned around behind the school. A quiet place usually used by children fighting. I finally found Duri. He turned out to be holding his badik. But I immediately secured the badik. I then handed it over to the principal and told him the problem. He immediately called the student's parents to resolve the problem that occurred.
Alhamdulillah Duri's parents and grandmother came to see the Principal. Solve this problem amicably with class students 6. We convey that bullying is not justified. We also advise to forgive each other. We convey that in the school environment we must also behave like brothers. Class 6 must treat class children 4 like his sister. Likewise vice versa. They looked very moved. They again realized that crime was something that should not be done. Duri became a good child again and no longer felt resentment towards other students at the Mawas State Elementary School.
