State Elementary School 5 Sintang

  1. early / Condition

In supporting the implementation of IKM, it is deemed necessary for every teacher to fully understand the independent curriculum, one of which is through PMM ( Pelapom Merdeka Berlajar ). At state elementary schools 5 Sintang, which is located in the middle of the Regency city and does not experience signal problems, is certainly very supportive for accessing PMM. But in reality, fellow teachers experience difficulties in accessing the PMM due to : Misunderstanding in Accessing PMM, and difficulties in working individually.

  1. Challenge

In its implementation there are several challenges faced, namely the number of existing teachers 28 People as follows :

  • The teacher's age is above 50 Total year 21 People until the Spirit of learning experienced a decline
  • Don't understand the benefits you get when accessing PMM
  1. Action

In order to support these activities, necessary steps were taken to create a learning community called "CEMPAKA" ( Smartly Managing Class Learning ). Which is carried out every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday which aims to change the mindset of fellow teachers who experience obstacles and equalize perceptions about the benefits of PMM. In this activity, several agendas were discussed, namely:: Access PMM, Teaching Toolkit, Assessment, Reflection on Learning and Sharing Good Practices. This activity is scheduled for one academic year.

  1. Learning

Learning communities in schools are very important because learning communities are a forum for realizing collaboration between educators. Educators learn together (not isolated), educators agree on common standards such as effective learning, assessment rubric/indicator, educators agree that the education of all students is a collective responsibility.

With the existence of a learning community in the school, Competency disparities between educators can be minimized, so that students receive learning experiences of the same quality regardless of the teacher. The learning process in a community that occurs continuously will form a learning ecosystem and culture which will ultimately have an impact on improving the quality of learning and student learning outcomes..
