Awal mula saya mengajar di UPT SPF SD Negeri Mawas adalah di awal tahun 2011. Saya ditempatkan sebagai guru di kelas 1. Untuk mengajar di kelas 1 tentu memiliki tantangannya tersendiri. Semula saya merasa sangat kerepotan. Tapi karena setiap tahun menghadapi kondisi serupa, saya jadi terbiasa. Karena saya dapat mengantisipasi hal-hal yang kurang baik di tahun sebelumnya sudah saya persiapkan sejak awal agar tidak terulang
During the learning process, peserta didik memiliki sikap dan prilaku yang berbeda. Ada yang pendiam dan ada pula yang aktif. Ada juga peserta didik yang tidak mau masuk kelas karena malu. There are those who cry because their parents left them, and various other unique behaviors and reactions. The way I reduce it is by doing ice breaking so that learning is fun and interesting. I also always include advice in every process of learning and teaching activities by taking a personal approach to students.
Sometimes there are also those who ask to sit on my lap. I allowed him to hold his hand to practice how to use a pencil correctly. Because this is an important basis so that students will have the ability to write well. After they are able to use writing tools well, I direct students to write letters according to what I demonstrate on the blackboard. I treat them with love.
Furthermore, I teach reading with simple spelling so that students are able and accustomed to reading words or sentences. Then teach addition with a simple method. I feel proud when I see students able to read, writing and calculating. Even though some things are not very fluent, I always provide assistance outside of class so that students are enthusiastic about mastering learning. I also always communicate with students' parents regarding the development of students' abilities so that they can also study at home.
When the moment of promotion, I feel proud that they were able to succeed. In fact, I also feel happy when I see that my students are already successful and achieving at the junior and senior high school levels. I have also met my students who have been successful by having good jobs, they greet and respect me very much. I feel happy to see that the students I used to teach have now grown up to become successful and responsible people.
