Membentuk Komunitas yang berfokus pada dunia konten sosial media. Sosial media yang dimaksud adalah sosial media sekolah. Seringkali kita merasa sudah melibatkan siswa, tapi ternyata kita hanya mengikutsertakan mereka. Dalam tulisan ini, diceritakan bagaimana proses terbentuknya komunitas yang akhirnya dikuatkan melalui keresahan bersama terhadap keberadaan SMP Prawira yang masih jarang diketahui oleh orang Lembang sendiri.
Jaman ini, jarang sekali orang yang tidak memiliki sosial media. Tidak ketinggalan lembaga pendidikan seperti sekolah, kini banyak yang sudah memiliki Akun sosial media. Saya adalah guru yang berperan juga sebagai pemegang akun sekolah, dan ini cerita saya tentang melibatkan siswa dalam dunia konten media sosial.
Pada awalnya saya melihat insight di sosial media sekolah, There it is stated that there are more Prawira Middle School followers from outside Bandung and West Bandung. I try to reflect while reflecting, why are they like that? even though all the concepts have been created, all that remains is to realize them in the form of action. But finally I realized, if it involves not just involving students. It could be that students are like that because they don't have a sense of belonging, don't feel that it is important to create educational content via social media, let alone via school accounts, I also don't know that Prawira's biggest Instagram followers are outside Bandung.
I then wondered, Who (student) about who is willing to help in creating content. Time elapsed, until it reaches the moment of Introduction to the School Environment (MPLS). When MPLS, There are students who are amazed to see videos made by other high schools. I was aware of the response, then i said “We can also make videos like that!”. Then I invited you to join the Multimedia Team. I did closerec via the application whatsapp on sstudents who enjoy appearing in front of the camera, students who have potential in design activities as well as students who want to be actively involved in activities at school.
Recruitment is complete and finally they join. I tried to greet him warmly and announced the time of the first group. During the first group, I tried to build unease. I explained the importance of social media for schools, then told him that there were still many Lembang people who didn't know about Prawira Lembang Middle School. It was so warm when they expressed the same concerns, the conversation feels lively.
Having the same sense of unrest in a community, is the main capital before finally implementing the action. After the anxiety awakens, We discussed what ways to attract the interest of Instagram users, especially residents around Prawira, if they say so “cara biar fyp”. Dalam diskusi tersebut muncul ide seperti membuat tiktok sekolah, jenis-jenis konten dan nama orang yang mau mengajukan diri sebagai penanggung jawab konten.
Setelah pertemuan pertama itu, minggu selanjutnya kami langsung membuat konten pertama tentang “Adab Saat Bertemu Guru”, di sana mereka terlihat antusias dan melakukannya dengan serius meskipun capek karena take video dilakukan setelah pulang sekolah. Kemudian setelah diunggah ke instagram mereka begitu bangga dengan hasilnya, tidak segan juga untuk share ulang videonya.
Konten pertama yang kami buat, berhasil diputar 2,5 ribu kali dalam waktu dua hari. Padahal sebelumnya sepi sekali like. Disamping itu saya tahu, bahwa ada siswa yang belum bisa mendesain, belum paham tentang desain, tapi saya sungguh salut dengan semangat ingin bermanfaatnya dan berani untuk belajar. Ya betul, When we want to involve, we may not yet be involved, but just got involved.
According to me, in practice, The main thing that must always be maintained is community comfort, Create a comfortable environment by trying to hear the opinions given, then respond enthusiastically.
