Good practice elaboration

Annajiyah IT Vocational School is the place where I study which is located in Tambakberas. This IT Vocational School is also under the auspices of the Tambakberas Islamic boarding school. There I worked in the field of youth which is often called PIK-R (Youth Information and Counseling Center) and I was entrusted to hold or be chairman of this organization. The PIK-R organization whose members are: 13 people are divided into 4 fields include 3 member of the public relations sector, 2 members of the advocacy/kie sector, 4 member of the HR improvement sector, And 4 member of the counseling field. They have tasks and move according to what they have been assigned, but all members also understand and understand the material at hand. Before we go down to the community, we first hold education for PIK-R members. Because I want all PIK-R members to be able to understand the material.

The hope is that many teenagers or young people can receive sexual and reproductive health education material well and can avoid problems related to teenage life..

However, currently issues related to SRHR are still a taboo topic for them, because not all school principals want to accept sex and reproductive health education. Many young people or teenagers don't know about this or they even underestimate this. If we discuss this with teenagers or young people, there are still many young people who think that this discussion leads to pornography. not even just teenagers or even young people now, However, sometimes their parents also don't understand about SRHR, which means they don't really care about what happens to their children. Even though this is really needed to handle juvenile cases which often occur nowadays. If parents don't understand or don't even understand this matter, then they won't teach it to their children, so it's not wrong that many young people today don't understand about SRHR..

PIK-R also not only handles sexual violence or distributes material about HKSR, but PIK-R also has peer counselors who might be able to help with the problems of teenagers around us who may be confused about who to tell because not all teenagers can be open with their parents.. We formed this peer counselor because there are still many people or teenagers who cannot differentiate between what is private and what is not private. Many of them, if their friends tell stories about their problems, end up being bullied. Because of this, many teenagers don't want to talk and choose to keep their problems to themselves. Because they don't believe it and are confused about who to tell. Even though this is not good for children's mental health because it will disturb their minds, and makes them unfocused and lazy to socialize, even if they are not strong enough to deal with the problems they are facing, they can even kill themselves.

Because of this, we are looking for teenagers who can be invited to move in this field because there are still minimal teenagers who want to be invited to move in this field.. Here we are also looking for a wide youth network so that teenagers understand the importance of SRHR and sexual education which can keep them away from other negative things.. We have succeeded in capturing teenagers at our school and we will expand this network to teenagers in Jombang. We have also opened a peer counselor so that teenagers can share their problems or talk about the problems they face to us with the trust of their privacy. We have also socialized via social media, for example TikTok and Instagram with videos about sexual education and SRHR.

Inviting teenagers to move in this field is something that makes me learn a lot about the problems faced by teenagers today, Not only that, but many PIK-R members also understand this and can stay away from sexual violence in their environment.. We have also succeeded in producing peer counselors who can be trusted to protect the counselee's privacy (people who tell stories).

If you experience problems scrolling, scroll outside of the area Live Chat which is black.
