Reading is the key to success, but if our students cannot read, the teacher will definitely have difficulty transferring other lessons. Children who have difficulty in reading will definitely miss out on other lessons. We as teachers must be able to create interesting methods and atmosphere so that students enjoy reading.

Of course, it's normal for new students not to be able to read because they are just starting school. New students want to know letter by letter word by word, of course we have to introduce it. We as teachers have to work hard and have extra patience.

But in the higher classes we still find children who
Knows letters but can't connect
There are those who don't read fluently
There are even some who still spell it.
That is the problem we have to face and a solution must be found.

This is our challenge as educators, why the child can't read, is the method we use not right or our learning style is less enjoyable or we don't pay enough attention to the child?.
Teachers must be able to change students who cannot read into being able to read. We must even make reading a necessity
ACTION
To overcome the problem of students who cannot read in first grade and high grade, it is certainly different ,but the method remains the same,that is, learning to read without spelling.
First introduce the vowels and then the consonants by using pictures of animals or fruits.
Combine consonant letters with vowel letters and say them directly without spelling them
Create study groups to arrange syllables into simple words using pictures
The teacher shows pictures of animals or fruit and asks students to write sentences

From the results of the actions we take from learning activities ,extraordinary changes occurred
Children who don't know letters are now starting to be able to read.
Children who spell now begin to read fluently
Children who were not yet fluent in reading can now read fluently.

Students learn to read more enthusiastically,be creative by reading books other than textbooks.
