Saya termasuk guru baru di SMP Negeri 4 Tanah Pinoh. Saya mengajar di sekolah ini baru memasuki semester ke tiga. Sebelumnya saya adalah seorang guru di Smp Negeri 1 Tanah Pinoh. I gained a lot of valuable experience from my old school. Especially issues of neatness and discipline. Di sekolah yang lama, saya tidak ada masalah dengan hal kerapian dan juga kedisiplinan murid. Namun berbeda dengan sekolah saya yang sekarang. Sebelumnya saya tidak ada tujuan untuk melakukan perbaikan pada masalah kerapian dan kedisiplinan. After a month I was at my new school, I feel uncomfortable with the sight of students who always violate school rules, especially issues of neatness and discipline. Neatness and discipline are one of the rules that must be obeyed and implemented throughout the school. This aims to familiarize students with being neat and disciplined from an early age until they become adults. Likewise in State Middle Schools 4 Tanah Pinoh Teachers and school residents must always comply with the rules relating to neatness and discipline. But sometimes because of strong curiosity, banyak murid ingin mencoba hal-hal baru terutaman hal yang melangar aturan sekolah. One of them is that students are still not neat and disciplined in the school environment. Hal tersebut karena murid mengikuti teman-teman sekelas ataupun yang berada di lingkungan sekolah. Sometimes a student's problem is not that big, it's just difficult to wear a uniform complete with attributes and take out the uniform. Even though this is very important to show the neatness and discipline of the student in the school environment and there are not many violators. Hanya murid itu dan itu lagi. Hal ini perlu kita kuatirkan agar tidak menularkannya kepada peserta didik lain. Which is sad again, Students who often violate school rules are class IX children. For this reason, I and the school principal and teacher council agreed that there would be a school program to improve neatness and discipline problems, especially in the school environment.. Hal tersebut bertujuan untuk memperbaiki masalah kerapian dan kedisiplinan di SMPN 4 Tanah Pinoh.
Setiap aktifitas yang menjadi program kegiatan rutin tentu memiliki tantangan dalam menjalankannya. Apalagi berhubungan dengan kedisiplinan dan kerapian. Adapun tantangan saya diantaranya adalah murid tidak memahami pentingnya disiplin dan menjaga kerapian di lingkungan sekolah. Ketika diminta untuk merapikan seragam, ada Sebagian murid menjawab “ baju saya sudah pendek bug” . ada juga ketika upacara guru bertanya “ dimana topi atau dasimu?” murid tersebut menjawab dengan santai “ tertinggal di rumah bu”, ada juga yang menjawab “ di dalam tas bu”. Beberapa hal tersebut adalah sedikit contoh yang guru hadapi di lapangan. Jika tidak di tindak lanjuti maka murid-murid akan terbiasa untuk melanggar peraturan sekolah. Murid hanya mentaati peraturan saat diawasi atau ditegur oleh guru sehingga tidak ada kesadaran yang benar-benar datang dari hati mereka.

Untuk memudahkan saya dalam memperbaiki masalah murid yang berhubungan dengan kerapian dan kedisiplinan, saya meminta persetujuan kepada kepala sekolah dan mengajak para rekan guru lainnya. Para rekan guru lain mensupport saya dengan menyetujui program yang saya buat selama itu tidak berbentuk sangsi kepada murid-murid. saya membuat program dengan nama “TUNTAS KURAP KUDIS DENGAN MEGAVA” singkatan dari “ Tuntas Kurang Rapi Kurang Disiplin dengan Media Gambar menggunakan Canva”. Sebelum saya dan rekan guru lainnya membuat program kepada murid, First, my fellow teachers and I, with the approval of the principal, made an agreement to implement neatness by making a schedule for wearing uniforms at school every day for one week and posting it in the office and also in the classrooms.. Meanwhile, for student discipline, I and other fellow educators demonstrate in class and to new students when implementing MPLS to always obey all the rules that have been made by the school. One of them is related to maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom and the environment around the classroom. Students clean their classrooms according to the picket schedule that has been made.
As for the first step, Saya menempelkan gambar-gambar yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan seragam yang sesuai di kelas-kelas. I edit the pictures I get using canva. So the picture looks interesting. So students are interested in seeing it. Saat saya menempelkan gambar-gambar tersebut antusias murid sangat bagus. Murid-murid terkadang berebut untuk melihat gambar-gambar tersebut. Di bawah gambar tersebut saya deskripsikan maksud dari gambar tersebut. Sesekali saya bertanya kepada para murid saya “ apakah gambarnya jelas?”, “ apakah kalian mengerti maksud dari gambar tersebut?”, “sudah sesuaikah seragam kalian dengan gambar yang baru saja kalian lihat?” para muridpun merespon dengan luar biasa sesuai dengan pertanyaan saya. pernah juga mereka bertanya kepada saya “Miss, bagaimana saya sudah terlanjur membeli sepatu berwarna putih apakah boleh memakainya?” saya pun menanggapinya dengan mengatakan boleh menggunakan sepatu putih ketika pengembangan diri atau free class day.
Yang kedua, Together with the students, I made a class agreement regarding neatness and discipline in class which can be applied in the school environment. The agreement we made was in the form of a written statement from the student regarding neatness and discipline on paper that had been provided by me, Then the students put it together on manila paper and posted it in their classroom. The content of this statement is about agreement regarding neatness and discipline. Apart from other fellow teachers, We as school members also invite parents of students to get involved in our program.
The third, I am the 7K coordinator and was approved by the principal and other fellow teachers to invite parents, especially parents of new students to participate in making our program a success. This program was well received by parents. Saya dan disetujui oleh guru lainnya meminta murid menerapkan kerapian dan kedisiplinan mulai dari rumah murid hingga berangkat sekolah dan tiba di sekolah. This was welcomed by the parents of the students.
By getting students used to maintaining neatness and discipline every day, Finally, students can be neat and disciplined in the school environment. Students who initially left home in uniform were expelled since they had been motivated all the time. Finally, these students realized themselves and left in neat uniforms from home to school.. Mereka juga melaksanakan tata tertib sekolah dengan sangat baik sesuai dengan kesepakatan yang telah di buat bersama-sama. For example, carrying out pickets according to the schedule that has been given and not throwing rubbish carelessly. Conclusion of my story, As teachers, we should never give up if we want to implement something positive in the school environment. There are definitely challenges, However, don't let challenges become obstacles for us in implementing good practice programs in the school environment.
