Mengemas pembelajaran agar lebih bermakna dan bekesan bagi siswa dengan melakukan praktek memasak membuat roti bakar dan merebus air untuk membuat minum. kegiatan ini untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran perpindahan kalor dan materi konduktor isolator.
Setiap hari murid- murid melakukan kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah. Seringkali kegiatan tersebut hanya sebagai rutinitas harian yang harus dijalani oleh siswa. Tentu saja sebagai seorang guru saya menginginkan murid – murid dapat memahami materi pelajaran yang telah dipelajari bersama. Harapannya apa yang telah dipelajari bisa menjadi bekal untuk kehidupan mereka di masa depan.
Saya sering menemui murid – murid yang mudah sekali lupa dengan materi pelajaran yang telah dipelajari sebelumnya. Never mind the lesson a week ago, lessons that were just learned yesterday or even during the previous lesson you have forgotten when asked again.
Then I look for ways to make each learning activity memorable for the students so that what they learn can last a long time and even make a strong impression in their memories.. I started trying to package some learning materials to make a deep impression on the students. One of the first activities I did was I invited my students to practice cooking, making toast and boiling water to make tea., coffee or milk to study heat material about conductors, insulators and heat transfer. The students were very enthusiastic and found it easier to understand the concepts of conductors, insulators and heat transfer. When I asked about the material some time later they still remembered it well.
With meaningful learning, Learning material can make a strong impression in students' memories. It is easier for students to understand learning material. Students can also study comfortably, happy, without being burdened by the materials or theories in textbooks. Learning becomes something that students look forward to, in fact they will always be curious, What else will I learn tomorrow...
