Good practice elaboration
At the beginning of post-pandemic learning, I found that many students experienced changes in learning. Some children say that studying at home is fun because they can relax while learning and don't have to get up in a hurry. Others stated that studying at home was not fun because they needed direct interaction with their peers and teachers. This habit influences their learning style and learning outcomes. In the English lessons that I teach, this change is also clearly visible. This is proven by the grades of their assignments which achieved perfection when asked verbally, they are not able to answer questions well. Look at this, I then carried out ability mapping through an initial cognitive diagnostic assessment. I also ask children to determine the learning activities they want but still have the same theme. From the test results, I then make a learning plan that can accommodate the child's wishes. The application of differentiated learning in the classroom produced surprising results for me. I got this from the results of the children's reflections which stated that they could learn well and were in a pleasant situation when studying.
