The class I am currently teaching is in the electrical department, machine, automotive, and welding where on average almost all of the class members are male students. At the beginning of the lesson I opened a discussion forum which contained questions related to "Do you think the Indonesian language learning that I teach will be conducive and enjoyable if?”
Almost all students wrote down what they wanted one by one, someone wrote jamkos (empty hours), all the teachers are together, home in the morning, in class you can bring a mattress, pillow, roll, the teacher often comes in late, there are also those who study seriously but relax, joking, can eat in class, and can drink, and there is no homework.
I don't scold them when they write to each other whatever they want during my lessons in class. After each student writes on the board, then I straightened out their intentions by asking what their goals were after graduating from school, almost the majority of them answered working.
