More than one hundred participants attended enthusiastically taking part in various series of activities, namely the educator class, Leader's class, and Education Talk Show. One of the sources who has good practices in the Educator Class is Revelation of Fatihah, State High School chemistry teacher 4 Cilegon.
Ayu, Wahyu Fatihah's nickname, told about several students in his class who seemed to be lagging behind and did not show interest in learning.
"I sometimes feel sad when I see some students whose potential is not being explored simply because of an inappropriate learning approach,” he said.
Following up on these conditions, Ayu began looking for information and doing self-reflection to explore learning strategies that suit students' learning needs. One of the concepts he began to emphasize was the concept of multiple intelligences.
According to him, the concept of multiple intelligences believes that no child is stupid, because every child is unique and has at least one advantage, some even have some basic intelligence (multi-talented).
In the implementation of the learning and education process, Assessing and stimulating children's intelligence must be done carefully and carefully, by designing a special method, so that children can become more skilled and develop according to their intelligence.
"Furthermore, I try to carry out the learning process with various methods and approaches,"said Wahyu. He tries to make learning more contextual in various materials so that learning is more meaningful, and accommodate various inspiration and input from students.
“To support this process, I also create learning media with various criteria in the form of images, technology, visual, singing, even poetry," explained Ayu.
Wahyu added that this experience taught him that diversity is not an obstacle, but rather wealth that needs to be managed wisely. With the right approach, every student has the opportunity to develop and show his best potential.
"Don't forget to also collaborate with various related parties. Support from colleagues and discussions within the teacher community also helped me develop more inclusive strategies. Slow down, I started to see changes. Students become more active, confident, and show significant learning progress,"He concluded.
