"In the year of 1973, Indonesia and South Korea are both still categorized as poor countries by the UN. But now, South Korea has become a developed and prosperous country, while we are still in the developing country category, said Dedie.
Dedie emphasized, condition number 1 until 100 is about infrastructure, temporary conditions 101 until 400 regarding human etiquette and behavior, such as hygiene, discipline, honesty, and order.
“And we don't have the conditions number 101-400 yet. So therefore, I invite us all, including teachers, to instill ethical values and protect the environment. That is also part of the second principle of Pancasila: Fair and civilized humanity,"He stressed.
Intelligent Teacher: A New and Exciting Way to Learn
Apart from talk shows, The TPN XII series in Bogor City was also enlivened by various other learning activities, namely the educator class, Leader's class, Student work exhibition, Intelligent Teacher (CCG), and Education Solutions Market.
CCG is a fun learning challenge for teachers and prospective teachers to reflect on competencies in accordance with Perdirjen GTK No. 2626 year 2023 about the Teacher Competency Model.
Via CCG, Participants can find out their competency level complete with feedback so they know what competencies are good or need to be improved.
“CCG is a program that emerged from our reflection, Teacher Learns, regarding teacher competence. This teacher competency has not yet become a topic of daily discussion for teachers,” explained Rahayu, TPN XII Coordinator in Bogor City.
“Hopefully, Contextually designed CCG, according to the teacher's daily life, can be a space for discussion regarding teacher competence, which ultimately triggered the opening of similar discussion spaces on other occasions,"He continued.
Besides that, So far there is still a lack of diversity in efforts to increase teacher competency. Generally limited to activities such as seminars or workshops. "There are many teacher competency development programs but few of them help teachers find out their competency level or provide minimal feedback,"explained Rahayu.
Activities that help teachers determine competency levels are also usually of a nature high-stakes such as teacher competency tests (ujikom), the results of which influence the future of the teacher's career.
As a result, teachers are not free to reflect on strengths or areas that still need to be developed. But through CCG, Teachers can find out their level of competency without worrying about failing the KO exam.
The CCG was in full swing. Participants were excited every time they found out the answer to each question. There seems to be no burden even though the answer is not appropriate. They actually looked curious and wanted to discuss further why their answer was not correct.
