Using differentiated learning with KSE (Emotional social skills) which has an impact on the achievement of knowledge and skills

After completing the Mover Teacher Education Program. Lots of knowledge that I got. Especially the new sciences in educating the students of the Pancasila generation. One of the interesting things to me is the material about differentiating learning that makes me curious so I want to try to practice it in my class. Incidentally in my class,There are so many diverse Muri-Murids. Some are easy to understand,even there are very difficult to focus on learning,there are still lazy learning. Many do not confidently to advance,talk to the front of the class. I really want my students to excel and feel happy,Happy when studying. But the reality is not so there are still many students who to come forward just embarrassed,Especially achievers.

From this problem arises my intention and motivation to apply the learning model differentiate with emotional social skills. I hope that by practicing this learning model children can be more focused,happy and more achievers. I see a lot of children with strength,the potential in them but they haven't realized it. This needs to be instilled in their hearts which of course by using emotional social skills.

But it is not easy to apply the learning model differentiate with this KSE. Because for me it is a new thing I learned. Besides that, it must have careful preparation to apply this learning model.

This differentiated learning model is learning that can help meet the learning needs of each student. The first thing I did was:

• Recognize the characteristics of students, Starting from nature, interest, to the learning style. Recognizing the characteristics of this student can be done by the observation method during learning activities and the diagnosis assessment through interviews or questionnaires.
• After that I divided students into several groups based on their interests or learning styles.
• The next step I chose the learning topic by paying attention to the diversity of students in terms of motivation, interest, study.
• Furthermore, I give the students to give a choice related to the assignments to be done, learning methods, and the learning media to be used.
• I made an assessment at the beginning of learning to find out the extent to which students understand the subject matter to be studied while measuring students' readiness to the learning objectives. Next I did an evaluation during learning and at the end of the student made a certain product
• Next I do an evaluation and reflection of the application of learning differentiation using KSE

When I started the diagnostic assessment through interviews, I shared my students with 5 group,each group contains 6 people,because of the total amount 30 people. The material or topic learned is Pancasila subjects,The main material is "mutual cooperation. In the initial section I have implemented emotional social skills in students. At the core or end there is still a KSE that is raised. In the core part of the students who have been in groups I gave the specified material. Furthermore, students do it according to the media and learning methods they choose. KSE during the learning that I focused:

1. Build emotional closeness with students
2. Facilitate students to find out their development
3. Give students the opportunity to express their opinions
4. Give assignments in a group
5. Using the story telling method

At the beginning of the KSE activity that I applied by building a closeness between the teacher,student and between students and students. What I did was the preliminary conditioning students by building closeness with students by giving questions to mengan "you have had breakfast?’,then give further questions that build their motivation and social interaction. I asked for a student who wanted to tell about his experiences from getting up to school,and his friends can comment on after he finished telling stories.

In the core activities students are given material that has been determined at the beginning with the media and learning models that have been chosen by students. In this session I gave emotional social skills by facilitating them in group discussions,give an opinion with friends during the discussion. When students finish doing their assignments and discuss,I monitor,evaluate the weaknesses and strengths of students. When are there 1 students who have not finished while all of his friends are finished,So the student who experienced the difficulty I asked his friends who were able to guide him as a peer tutor,This can practice their social skills with peers.

Alhamdulillah, students are very enthusiastic in participating in learning. Besides that, students can share knowledge with their peers. In this core part I as a teacher must continue to match them until the learning activities are completed. After the student is finished it's time to reflect. Students pressed the learning activities on that day by presenting the results of their work in the form of products.

At the stage 3 I and I both concluded about the learning activities of this differentiated model,question and answer,feedback at the end of the learning. In this session emotional social skills can also be applied by exploring their self -demonstration of the goals and hopes they want to achieve. Examples of sentences that can bring up self -awareness,explore the potential and explore students, among others:

1. Whatever you have learned today?
2. What benefits you can after studying today's material?
3. What are you going to do after getting today's learning experience?
4. What you don't understand from today's material?
5. How to make your lack of understanding can be resolved?
6. What causes you to feel less understanding this material?
7. What feelings you feel when learning with learning models differentiate with kse?
8. How your cooperation with a group friend?
9. What we have to do in order to be sure and be able to achieve our goals/desires?

There are many more questions that we can ask as a teacher. The results of the learning model differentiate with KSE are very beneficial for my students,they are more active,the spirit of learning and confidence he has increased. They dare to appear forward,express his opinion. Their lazy attitude gradually becomes more responsible,diligent. My student who took part in taekwondo martial arts sports that I explained before,in short, Alhamdulillah, I got a champion 1 national level taekwondo for beginners. It turns out that the learning model differentiates with KSE applied in class can have an impact on the achievements of both students' knowledge and skills.
