Quraish Shihab in his book Yang Hilang dari Kita: Morality (2017) mention, Noble morals and manners are needed to fill people's lives.
Noble morals are an inevitability of humans' position as social creatures. The higher a person's morals, then the greater the happiness. Likewise with the community at school, the more unified its members are in jointly implementing the moral values that are mutually agreed upon, the happier the community will be.
All good things will become habitual if you get used to them. Likewise, bad things that get used to will also become used to it. Starting from getting used to the Ramadhan prayer activities which were held in 2020 at SDN Panagan which took place successfully thanks to the enthusiasm of the students, makes children want to continue this habit even though the month of Ramadan is over. Because of this, permission was obtained from the school to hold Blessing Friday activities.
To carry out these activities, which always has to be carried out in the field of course requires a mat for students to pray. At first they used plastic vegetables and mats that they used to bring from their respective homes. But as time goes by, Because of the alms movement on Friday Blessings, tarpaulins were finally provided for them to use on Friday Blessings activities, thus reducing plastic waste from each student's prayer mat.. Apart from that, unused school banners were also used.
On a blessed Friday, The point is to do three things, namely praying Duha together, Friday almsgiving and cultivating good character.
It started when the children together helped spread a tarpaulin on the field and each of them spread out their prayer mats to form their habit of being neat, discipline and socialize with others. How they value each other and respect the rights of others (Children get used to sitting in their original place unless the teacher rolls their seat).
If the child performs duha prayer playfully/incorrectly, they are used to admitting their mistakes by repeating the prayer after the imam has finished.
Likewise, a child who becomes a scheduled priest (high grade) grow their awareness to memorize the Quran without being forced. Apart from that, of course their leadership is also trained. Where the imam must set a good example by carrying out prayers correctly and be a role model for the community because every movement is followed by them..
Currently the impacts being felt are:, pertengkaran dikelas yang dilakukan oleh anak tidak begitu sering/ berkurang.
Especially as a PAI teacher who used to feel bullied when I was a student here and often provided guidance through experience to the children to serve as an example, In the end, I feel that the bullying between students is significantly reduced.
Eventually, usaha untuk kesalehan sosial dan spiritual yang seimbang murid-murid disekolah salahsatunya dapat dibentuk dari pembiasaan jumat berkah ini.
