Meaningful collaboration
Starting from the P5 project at Prawira school in March 2023, we see that students need other figures to be present in their learning process at school, So we want to give it a different color by bringing in sources from outside.
The challenge we have to face is of course funding. How we pay sources? But we are always determined, that existing limitations will never dampen our steps to provide the best service we can for our beloved students.
Then we made a list of our friends with whom we could collaborate but at no cost. We sorted the list of names, and adapt to what students need. Ada 3 resource person that we finally decided to fill the learning and experience sharing session on our P5 Project at that time. And all three are willing to collaborate with Prawira Middle School. We then contacted the names we were targeting as sources for our P5 Project, asked about his willingness to appear at Project P5 Prawira Middle School. The community we involve is the Hayu Maca Cimahi Community, Gerlong Gojek Community, and the Bandung Physics Olympiad Alumni Community. Of the three of them, two sources were willing to come to Prawira, and one resource person was willing to send a motivational video to Prawira students because they were abroad.
It turns out that by involving external communities, students are more enthusiastic when receiving life lessons from sources they have met for the first time. Collaboration with communities outside the school, provide meaningful and enjoyable lessons for students.
