As a teacher, I want my students to be able to make environmental posters. By making environmental themed posters, I want to invite students to protect the environment around school and home.
Challenge
However, there are obstacles in making environmental posters, because my students are inclusive children, namely, there are those who have special needs in participating in the learning process. That is, they cannot write words correctly and quickly when making the poster because they are slow responding children.
Action
Then I started looking for ways for children to make environmental posters with enthusiasm and fun. For this reason, I created the RATA activity (Merangkai Kata) dengan membuat huruf huruf dalam sebuah susunan dalam kotak. Anak – anak akan membuat poster dengan mengeja terlebih dahulu huruf yang akan dibentuk. Dengan kegiatan ini, anak -anak akan lebih antusias.
Learning
Dengan kegiatan ini,mereka belajar merangkai kata membentuk poster lingkungan. Manfaat yang didapat adalah belajar literasi dalam mengolah dan merangkai kata membentuk poster yang berisikan lingkungan. Mereka tampak senang, karena kegiatan ini bisa dikatakan dengan semi permainan bagi mereka.
