
XII Archipelago Educators Meeting in Makassar City successfully held at Athirah Islamic School on Saturday (21/06). Activities held by Teacher Learning Foundation And Archipelago Learning Teacher Community (KGBN) Makassar City This involved hundreds of educators as speakers, participant, to accompanying students at the Work Exhibition session.
Apart from the work exhibition, Participants were presented with various learning sessions, namely Education Talkshows, Educator class, Leader's class, and Smart Teacher.
As much 18 speakers from various backgrounds and schools fill one Educator Class and Leader Class. They share good practices in responding to today's educational challenges, both grade levels, school/madrasah, community, as well as regional.
Adelia Octoryta, TPN XII committee in Makassar City, say, "We are not looking for the best teacher, but speaks out for good practice. Because what we need today is not just achievements, but collaboration and reflection are contagious.”
“We want to show that the best learning often comes from teachers for teachers, from school to school,” he continued.
Sarwinah and Muhammad Agus filled the Leadership Class with inspiring leadership practices. Sarwinah runs an initiative that does more than just keep the school environment clean, but also instilling environmental awareness among school residents.
Meanwhile, Muhammad And, share experiences in leading schools in suburban areas through the topic "Suburban Schools, Dream Big: The Journey to a Meaningful School”. Her story shows that geographic limitations and resources are no barrier to building impactful and meaningful schools.
Then in the Educator Class, educators appeared with a number of inspiring practices, such as building student trust through transparent assessments, how to explore student potential, as well as learning that supports critical reasoning and courage to express opinions.
Buri Prahastyo, Makassar City KGBN Activator mention, Educator Class and Leader Class as a safe and collaborative space between educators. “We want teachers to grow not because of competition, but because of collaboration, inspiration, and the courage to share the process,he explained.
TPN XII in Makassar City has opened many learning spaces and become a catalyst for cross-community collaboration. In one class hour, Participants absorb long experiences that are born from the courage to try, ups and downs, until finally finding best practices that have a real impact.
“In the midst of the complexity of today's educational challenges, The Educator Class and Leader Class are proof that educational change does not have to wait. It can start now, from the classroom, and from teachers who dare to share,” closed Buri.
