
Regent of Sintang, Gregory Herkulanus Bala, expressed his full appreciation and support for the activities of the Archipelago Educators Gathering (TPN) XII Regional Region which will be held by the Indonesian Learning Teacher Community (KGBN) with the teacher learned foundation on 19 July 2025 next.
This support was conveyed directly by the Regent when receiving a friendly audience from the KGBN management and the TPN XII committee in his office., Wednesday (4/6/2025).
Chairman of KGBN Sintang, Jehoshaphat Chang, M.Pd, During the meeting, they explained that their visit was aimed at asking for support and direction from the regional government regarding the implementation of TPN.
He also explained the role of KGBN as a professional teacher organization that is consistent in improving competence, voiced education in favor of children, and organizing innovative activities.
“The TPN XII nanti, there will be various activities such as educational talk shows, Intelligent Teacher, sharing good practices from educators and leaders, as well as an exhibition of simple works that are full of meaning," said Yosafat.
He also mentioned that KGBN Sintang had carried out various activities, including sharing good practice online, and this is the third time TPN has been held in Sintang. “We really need synergy and support from the regional government,he added.
Yosafat also said that the theme of this activity was "Climate Education and Climate Education." This theme is an invitation for teachers to care about the environment, such as waste, sungai, forest, and around the residence.
“Through TPN, We invite teachers to bring tumblers as a form of real action to reduce plastic waste,he explained.
Respond to this, The Regent of Sintang stated that this activity was not just ceremonial, rather it must produce concrete targets and outputs. He fully supports the environmental education campaign and hopes that this awareness will be firmly embedded in the education system and Sintang society.
“Teachers must continue to innovate and motivate each other to continue learning and create real solutions for the future of Sintang children,” stressed the Regent.
He emphasized that education is not only the responsibility of schools and teachers, But it requires the involvement of all elements: parent, public, school, to the government.
"This is in line with the national education vision in welcoming the Golden Generation 2045, as stated in President Prabowo Subianto's Astacita,"He said.
The Regent considers TPN XII as an important space to strengthen relationships between educators, broaden horizons, and enrich learning practices.
“I invite all teachers in Sintang to attend and collaborate. Make the TPN a real step to create friendly education, relevant, and impact future generations,"He concluded.
